Outdated and poorly maintained hotel

There was a bad smell from the toilet and dusty on the shelf at the entrance to the room (came from the sealing). Some of the tiles on the wall in the bathroom was missing bits and pieces. Some of the staff at the breakfast who was cleaning looked angry and bothered by all the guests- like we were in the way for them when they we’re cleaning tables. All in all an outdated and poorly maintained hotell.

The hotel was ok. It's getting a bit tired though. There is no AC and it was hot during our stay. The hotel restaurant was closed during the public holidays Pentecost and there were no other restaurants close by. We found this rather weird.

It’s a tacky hotel and it seems there is a problem with the soil pipes and drainage system, a vey strong unpleasant smelly in the bathroom and whole room! And strangely around the hotel corridors! Radiator in my room was not working and was not warm and toilet blockage in the room they have given me fort before changing them room! The area is very boring and far from city centre. Just had good selection for breakfast buffet! I will never again stay in this hotel! Stinky bathroom which transfer the smell to whole room!

Veldig hyggelig personell. Rent rom. Helt ok frokost. Ligger rett ved hovedveien som gjor det problematisk med lufting og å få nedkjølt rommet til sovetemperatur om natten.

Rigtigt godt hotel

forbindelse med familiebesøg i byen har vi altid boet på hoteller i midtbyen, tæt på underholdning og restauranter, men da dette ikke kunne lade sig gøre denne gang, måtte vi "tage til takke" med et hotel i forstæderne. Det var et valg, som vi absolut ikke kom til at fortryde! Jeg har aldrig skænket det en tanke, at Scandic Vest kun ligger 20 sekunders kørsel fra ringvejen og ca. 10 minutter fra hhv. motorvejen og centrum. Vores værelse var lyst og rummeligt, og her var alt, hvad vi havde brug for (dog intet pengeskab), sengen var god og lyslægningsgardinerne effektive, og da vi ikke kunne høre trafikken på ringvejen, var søvnkvaliteten helt i top. Morgenmaden var i den gode ende med lækkert kvalitetsbrød, mens udvalget til gengæld desværre var lidt begrænset, f.eks. var skæreosten begrænset til en smagløs ”børneost” og der var heller ikke meget kødpålæg at vælge imellem. Personalet var venligt og hjælpsomt, men kører noget på rutinen, det er tydeligt, at dette er et sted med mange 1-dages overnatninger (mit indtryk var, at det fungerer som motel for mange udlændinge). Den vigtigste opdagelse for os var dog, at der mange og (ikke mindst) GRATIS P-pladser, og det er sgutte uvæsentligt i Århus, hvor man bliver flået for at parkere i midtbyen
