"After spending all day walking the royal mile, touring the Edinburgh castle, and eating Scottish food, the Fraser hotel made us feel like royalty. We were always greeted by cheerful staff who were ready to help with anything. The facilities were clean and tidy. Our suite had a gorgeous view of the city and had an antique charm to it. The laundry facilities were completely free and opened 24 hours a day. I would recommend this stay to anyone!"

"I was really disappointed with this hotel. For the price point, I expected way more. The check in process was through a kiosk in the lobby. Seemed pretty straight forward. I asked the hotel staff on how I could get access to my room and the person was very stand offish and rude. She stomped over to the cupboard and threw 2 key cards down and made it seem like I was inconveniencing her. I wish I got her name but I know she works in the day time. "We booked the two bedroom apart hotel. This is more of a 3* hotel than 4*. It’s very run down. Bathroom fine, grout dirty and good shower power but old building. Sensitive smoker alarms so can’t keep doors open making the apartment quick stuffy at times. The windows open but at ground level can be noisy. Good central location and 5 minute walk to main royal Mile shops. Our issue was retuning on our second evening, which was after a wedding (1am), the above room had leaked through the ceiling...
