The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable, with the most heavenly beds and linens. "This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! "A lovely cottage with history and character. As mentioned in the listings it would not be suitable for someone very tall or with difficulties. Facilities are excellent everything you need supplied. Parking is free but beware spaces can be all taken - it states 23 hours stay - no return for an hour, so be aware there is a car park attendant around! Cottage is within easy reach of the town and Abbey. A lovely stay"

"I wish we had had more time to enjoy the property amenities, but the room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Really a luxury experience after a long day hiking the Cotswold Way.
