"Good location. Very comfortable and high standard. Beach area was good although the area had a bad storm on our 2nd night and suffered notable damage and disruption. Breakfast on floor 2 was excellent and included in our price. Food and drink a bit pricey for us, for example £18 for two iced coffees and that's with zero exchange fees and paying in AED. Defintely a good choice though and great to stay here after our visit 10 years ago staying at the Palace opposite.. hard to match that I guess...

"We stayed here 10 years ago and wanted to return to visit nearby sights. Its fine as accomodation goes but the staff were a little distant... We now know the hotel is closing for refurb in June and new ownership once that is complete, so next year we assume. I think it maybe doesn't fit with the Anantara brand any longer ! "The staff were happy, polite and eager to help. However the photos on the listing do not match up with the actual room that they give you. I paid extra for a room of 4 even though there were only 3 of us travelling because I didn't want any of us sleeping on a rollaway bed. We were given one king size bed for 2 adults in the bedroom and a rollaway bed was squeezed in to the already cramped lounge area.
