"Good location. Very comfortable and high standard. Beach area was good although the area had a bad storm on our 2nd night and suffered notable damage and disruption. Breakfast on floor 2 was excellent and included in our price. Food and drink a bit pricey for us, for example £18 for two iced coffees and that's with zero exchange fees and paying in AED. Defintely a good choice though and great to stay here after our visit 10 years ago staying at the Palace opposite.. hard to match that I guess...

"We stayed here 10 years ago and wanted to return to visit nearby sights. Its fine as accomodation goes but the staff were a little distant... We now know the hotel is closing for refurb in June and new ownership once that is complete, so next year we assume. I think it maybe doesn't fit with the Anantara brand any longer ! "The staff were happy, polite and eager to help. However the photos on the listing do not match up with the actual room that they give you. I paid extra for a room of 4 even though there were only 3 of us travelling because I didn't want any of us sleeping on a rollaway bed. We were given one king size bed for 2 adults in the bedroom and a rollaway bed was squeezed in to the already cramped lounge area. "It was my first visit. Very clean and spacious room and good hotel facilities. Staff are always responsive and fast to the need of guest. But, during high season the price will be expensive, so recommend to visit from May to Sept which will make price affordable. "
