"We were in Sullivan for the week at an Air bnb and we decided to end our trip with a night in Bar Harbor. We've stayed in this hotel twice before in previous years and it's been nicely renovated since. We love that it is dog friendly and within walking distance from downtown Bar Harbor restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The complimentary water, breakfast foods, and snacks were a nice plus. Everything was clean and the check-in/check-out was efficient. We were able to check into our hotel rooms early which was great because we were in the area in the early afternoon. "

"This is an absolute gem of a place to stay in Bar Harbor. As it is set back up the hill the view from every room is spectacular out over the water. The rooms are clean and well presented with coffee, water & ice & laundry (super helpful!) all available 24/7. Great breakfast included. The staff were great. It is in a lovely quiet location on the edge of town away from the crowds in town but super close for dining & shopping. The Hulls Cove Park entrance into Acadia is 5 mins away with easy access to the Carriage roads as well for walking & biking. We had a car so didn't use the Island Shuttle service but we noticed it was frequently arriving or departing at the front entrance so very useful location for that. Great stay. "

"We had a lovely stay at Little Fig. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The person who checked us in was more than happy to provide recommendations. She also found beach towels for us when we wanted to go to Sand Beach. Would definitely stay here again. The location was very convenient to the shops and restaurants and to Acadia."

"Friendly staff. Nice pool and a playground with a picnic area. Many breakfast options and tea/coffee in the lobby. We booked a family room that consisted of the main room and a smaller interior room with two beds for the kids. This setup worked very well for our family of 4. I wish more hotels had options like this. The laundry area was clean and easy to use. The free shuttle bus that goes to Bar Harbor and Acadia stops at the entrance of the hotel. Mini golf and ice cream place are a short walking distance away."

"Kimball Terrace Inn at Northeast Harbor is a great place to stay for experiencing Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. There are lots of things to do in the area and the inn is in a great location. "
