Good Base

Apart from missing the hotel on our first approach through Acharacle (could do with a better sign on the road coming from Salen) our two nights were as we expected from a Scottish Tourist Board 2 star small hotel. The dinner menu choices were good with quite a selection of local produce. Breakfast was presented nicely and enjoyed by both of us

Loch Shiel Hotel, Acharacle - helt ude i naturen

På vej til hotellet kører man og tænker.......gad vide, hvor i alverden, vi havner - for det er i sandhed langt væk fra alt og alle. MEN, MEN - hotellet ligger SÅ smukt i den meget lille "by" Acharacle nær Skotlands vestkyst. Vores værelse havde udsigt over haven (med hønsegård), søen og bjergene i baggrundet. Hyggelig atmosfære på hotellet, hvor også lokalbefolkningen frekventerede baren. Indretning og rengøring i top - og der blev serveret rigtig god mad.

Hôtel à fuir. Very bad

Prestations non aasurées - Pas de break fast (à 10h) pas de WI FI et ceci au prix fort. Hôtel viellot avec accueil excécrable. Chambre bruyante (bruit du bar jusqu'au matin) Salle de bain très exigüe - pas la vue annoncée, etc All very bad and very expansive for the quality and the services no maid
