"Beautiful accommodation in very center of Agrigento, near to everything. Hotel itself is like living in Renaissance luxury. Parking on street in front of hotel was a breeze. Many good restaurants nearby. Only one warning: to get to hotel, you park in plaza in front, then must carry luggage up about 40 steps. We did it it a very large piece of luggage, but it is easier with a smaller piece of luggage"

The weak point of the stay was the badly kept access road to the property which is full of potholes, dumped rubbish and broken furniture. "The property itself is nice… a 17th century house with all the modern conveniences of an elevator, AC, and new en suite bathrooms. Squeaky clean. Tasty restaurant attached. The only downside is this place is surrounded by cinderblock apartments, so the views are not as atmospheric as the hotel itself. We kept our windows closed for the most part, and did not enjoy the balcony. We did enjoy the sounds of children from the elementary school next door. It’s not quiet, but it’s happy."
