"Looks like the property has been recently upgraded Rooms were very good, clean, newly upgraded. Staff were miserable. At check in it appeared we were inconvenienceing them. Over three days only saw the breakfast girl smile. One day the cleaners did not close the room door properly so it was left open, unlocked. When I spoke with the cleaner they just shrugged. Have stayed in other Monte Carlos in the past and they were excellent. Don't know what was up with this staff."

"Location is convenient. Beds are decent. Some staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. We were staying one week and needed to work on our laptop and requested an extra chair in our room. The immediate response was unfriendly and a hard “no.” Decor is cold and uninviting (cold grey paint). Painting over mouldy caulking and mouldy paint is just lipstick on a pig."

"Lovely home in rural Ontario. The house is well maintained and very comfortable. Communication with the owners was easy and punctual. We left early in the AM and they accommodated us with breakfast to go. Overall, a short but sweet stay. Would recommend and repeat."

"All was good but the complimentary breakfast wasn’t all that. Not really many items you would think would be available for this. Also the room had a musty smell. And it sucks the windows didn’t open to let fresh air in. Other than that the bed was comfy and the room was otherwise clean."

"We had a very clean & quiet room on 3rd floor . Staff were all friendly especially Daniella at the bfast buffet. Bfast was basic but sufficient. My only neg comments were a squeaky bed and a continuous flashing green light from the fire alarm unit. Did not use the gym nor hot tub. Lots of free-parking."

"Very nice and quiet environment and clean property. Staff was great and breakfast was good. My only suggestion is to provide a power source beside the bed for easy phone and laptop charging . I had to leave my phone beside the tv to charge. I dot know about other rooms but that’s the only thing lacking in the room I was in. Besides that , every other thing was great."
