"I’m not sure why this resort has such poor reviews. First thing to note, the hotels.com map shows that the hotel is in the centre of Favignana town. This isn’t the case. It’s some kilometres away on the other side of the island. €16 in a taxi. The resort was built in the 70s but has obviously had a fairly extensive refurb in recent years. "A good overall stay. The staff were really nice - they went out of their way to accommodate you. The room was a bit small (even for a standard room) and had a window which overlooked some stores which were quite noisy in the morning. There was nowhere to hang a towel/swimwear to dry.
