"Honestly, this isn't our usual type of hotel. We usually pick adult only 5* with a la carte restaurants but we were more than pleasantly surprised with Palais des Roses. Hotel is in a great location towards the end of the promenade overlooking the beach. Hotel itself is beautiful inside and out. It is new but is well cared for, very clean in all public areas. "Beach was nice. Short walk from room and hotel lobby. Got to see sunset from their chairs every night. What Sofitel always does for me and why I continue to use their brand worldwide is their attention to customers. They all go out of the way to make the stay welcoming. Getting a taxi outside is easy, but kinda of a drag being so far from town. Made us wanna stay at resort even more. Everyone from kitchen, to lobby, to cleaning crew to servers was impecabble. I would return."
