"The hotel was lovely. The communication with staff was difficult sometimes as 80% did not know how to speak English. There was very small ants around the outside and inside of the door to our hotel room when i made them aware they did not understand or didn't want to understand and did nothing to resolve the situation. Communication when ordering food was difficult ended up ordering double and paying more for certain items due to lack of understanding. If fluent in french then you are ok....

"Honestly, this isn't our usual type of hotel. We usually pick adult only 5* with a la carte restaurants but we were more than pleasantly surprised with Palais des Roses. Hotel is in a great location towards the end of the promenade overlooking the beach. Hotel itself is beautiful inside and out. It is new but is well cared for, very clean in all public areas. Our room was great - we opted for a swim up room which I would recommend if you want sun on your room all day. Room was large and...
