"Buffet was limited. Good food not a lot of selection. Not the cleanest. Spider webs in the window we sat next to at breakfast. Distracted from the great view."
"Staff were helpful, and friendly. Able to get a pet friendly room. Weight room and hot tub closed. Off season … so lots of renovation being done. Continental breakfast simple be adequate."
"The hotel is in a great waterfront location and is very clean and modern with in room facilities, coffee/ tea and microwave but doesn’t have a lounge, coffee shop, restaurant or bar.
All these are readily available within a few steps from the hotel.
Excellent value although paid parking for guests seems odd even though free parking is available on the street in front of the hotel."
"Overall, I really enjoyed my stay! I was thankful to be on the second floor because only one elevator was working, and it was slower than molasses. I ended up taking the stairs pretty much the entire time.
On the positive side, the continental breakfast was by far the best I’ve ever had at a hotel! Bacon and sausage every day, omelets, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt, pastries, bagels, toast, fresh fruit, cheese, salsa, plenty of juice and coffee, and even individual cartons of chocolate and white milk. The selection was honestly impressive!
The pillows were comfortable, and the outdoor pool and hot tub area was beautiful. The pool was nice and warm even though it was only about 5°C outside, and the hot tub was actually hot, which I loved!
The only reason I’m not giving five stars is the elevator situation. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily stay again!"
"Staff right off the hop was friendly and knowledgeable about the region. The room was clean and tidy. Mattress was soft/firm but the pillows were too flat and somehow still clumpy. The hairdryer was fully clogged with dust so I cleaned it; not a big deal but struck me as a fire Hazzard. Shower was roomy but the showerhead was so incredibly clogged (likely from hard water), they really need an upgrade. Towels were very absorbent. Toilet paper was super thin. Shower soaps were good. Crystal clear Hot tub and pool had good temps. Waterslide was great! Gym was dated but functional and has a Pelton. 24hr coffee, hot chocolate and tea (could use more options). Best of all was the included breakfast. Fluffy fresh waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, pastry, oatmeal, eggs, French toast, hash, meat! Best one I've ever seen, honestly. Various restaurants close by. I'd definitely go back and do recommend for mid tier accommodations."
