"We stayed at Riad Jona for 5 days and 4 nights as a family of four, booking two rooms.
Overall, the riad is very beautiful and offers a charming, traditional atmosphere. The environment is peaceful and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to relax after a day out. The staff were consistently polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The hammam experience was also very enjoyable and a highlight of our visit.
That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. While the riad is lovely, parts of the bathrooms would benefit from some updating, particularly the paintwork and wooden fixtures. One of the main inconveniences we experienced was that our two rooms were located in separate buildings, even though we booked together as a family. It would have been much more convenient to have rooms in the same building.
The pool temperature was quite cold, even on sunny days, which made it less inviting to use. Breakfast was decent but somewhat repetitive, with limited variety aside from occasional cakes. A wider selection would enhance the experience, especially for longer stays.
Finally, although we arranged an airport transfer through the riad and paid a higher price for convenience, we were dropped off at Place of Mellah without guidance. We then had to walk through a busy street to locate the riad ourselves, which was particularly challenging without internet access.
In summary, Riad Jona offers a beautiful setting, friendly staff, "
