"We had a wonderful stay! The setting of the property, amongst those green Basque Country hills, is gorgeous and the building itself has an air of old world charm. "Great location if your are travelling about in a car. Looked like plenty of bus services but I didn’t use this. I was travelling back and forth to Irun so perfect for me. The room has great cooking facilities, bed was comfy, very updated look and shower was nice and powerful. The gym facilities were basic but good for a quick cardio or stretching session Cleaning facilities I looked to use them but my card didn’t work, 5-6€ per wash or dryer."

"Nice hotel but with its ups and downs. Staff were super helpful and excellent spoke really good English polite and approachable even in the var area the young man working is fantastic. Regarding the rooms especially on the 4th floor need a bit of upgrade the air conditioning is old so makes a lot of noise and even putting it on the lowest setting makes a rattling noise and also the air conditioner is not enough to cool the place down. The pillows were super uncomfortable but that my be my own preferences and last the floor towel for the shower was already dirty when I arrived. An okay hotel but not to Great for a 4 star"

"This hotel is not worth the price. While the location is amazing, it just didn’t impress me. Our bathroom door was off its roller, the bidet didn’t work, housekeeping was sporadic with replacing coffee or face towels. The bar couldn’t make a good drink and often made mistakes with the orders. It was disappointing."

"The room was very comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet area not too near the centre or the main attractions.. A short bus ride or a taxi ride, but not in the centre of things. Sadly the pool was not open as it only does from June to the autumn. The gym pool (indoor) and their facilities can be used at extra daily cost."

"Another lovely stay - 4 years since last time but still impressed with the quality of the room, the food and the staff. Stunning location and incredible sunsets! Dinner outside on the terrace was completely delicious. Every member of staff we met was smiley and friendly. Shame we could only stay one night this time."
