"This place may be ok for the scuba diving crowd, but if you have a wife who expects certain hotel-like things--like soap, shampoo, a coffee kettle، forget it. Look elsewhere. In addition, we were offered absolutely no check in, no passport, no marriage cert, and no help with the room's features--,like how to figure out how to take a hot shower. Also no television though one stares blackly at you from across the bed. And there were the aggressive dogs...No, don't do it!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mövenpick Tala Bay Aqaba. A special thank you to Mustafa from the front desk team, who kindly upgraded us to a great room and helped make our stay even more enjoyable. We also want to recognize the lifeguard team for their professionalism and quick response. My son was playing in the deeper water and is a good swimmer, but another child accidentally pulled him from behind, causing him to struggle. The lifeguard reacted instantly, jumping in and assisting him...

"Checking in was chaos, staff could not cope with amount of people. When we finally started the process of checking in the hotel telephone started to ring. The female member of staff immediately stopped serving us and answered the telephone despite the fact she was in the middle of serving us ! This is very bad manners to answer telephone whilst dealing with a customer who is currently being served at check in. The female member of staff forgot to give us our passports as she had put them next...

"This place is absolutely disgusting. We booked 9 nights. This hotel is full of roaches!!!!! And they are really big…. To top it off the shower was broken upon arrival. Then the restroom door knob was broken. And we couldn’t even flush the toilet. We called them to fix or to switch us to a diffrent room. They declined and kind you they were at our hotel until 3 am to fix the restroom things and said we did the best we could. And as for the roaches. They said it comes with hotel we can’t do...

"Ohh espectacular el lugar entre las montañas! La cena / desayuno es completo! Tiene un bar con música puedes estar y beber, muy padre esta entre las piedras muy de acuerdo a la epoca, El chavo que canta nos llevo entre montaña para las fotos, uff vale totalmente la pena una caminata de 20 min subir y las fotos de todo campamento Muy recomendable "

"Great location right across from the beach. Rooms are quiet despite the activity outside on the street. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast spread was amazing, had lots of local options to try. Our only complaint is that it says that you have free self-park on site which is not true. It was a scramble just to find any random parking on the street. "

"They had absolutely no knowledge of our prior reservation and were unprepared. We arrived late and tired. Nobody at reception spoke English. We couldn't communicate. Unfortunately, they kept us waiting for a very long time. The rooms were adequate. Breakfast was not bad. "

"This is a brand new hotel with nice staff ! Only 10min walk to Aqaba Castle/Museum. The breakfast was served in their sister hotel across the street, it is a traditional Jordanian breakfast with several choice. We had partial ocean view which was a huge plus, totally recommend this hotel!"

"Had a fantastic stay at Joer Beach Resort. It is has the lerfect location and right across the road from the beach. Mohammed at the from desk reception was very helpful and friendly. The sea view room was spacious and air conditioning worked perfect. Will come back to stay again next time."
