"So first, I booked my husband and I a beach view room. There were rooms listed as a partial or obstructed beach view, however, I chose the one that did not mention that, thinking we would have a nice view of the beach, like the pictures in the listing showed. Upon arrival to our room, we discovered that our view was actually a view of the construction work next door, the highway, and a small sliver of beach. We informed the front desk, and I tried to show them my booking and what was advertised, however they insisted that I just didn't read the booking information properly, placing the blame on me, rather than even trying to be understanding of the misleading room advertisement. They said that if we wanted an actual beach view, we would've needed to book a beach front room (which were advertised as ground level beach view rooms). All they offered was to take the fee for parking off, which we were never even informed of upon check-in; which is concerning, as I'm sure not all guests drive/park here.
On top of that, the lock on the door was insanely hard to lock. The body wash smelled awful. The tv would go in and out. The hot tub had so much chlorine in it, that it burned both mine and my husband's eyes and throats.
The only positive things about the stay, was the direct access to the beach, and the close proximity to anything we wanted to do outside of the hotel. Overall, I would never have paid so much for the awful experience we had at this hotel. "
