"Lack of empathy. After being stuck in 2 blizzard storms with weather warning alerts and road closures on 2 days, there was no way to reach the hotel on check-in date. Other hotels and Airbnb graciously agreed to cancel our booking due to the extenuating weather related circumstances. But this property has no empathy for customers and refuses even a partial refund and blame it on customer for not wanting to make the long drive even if it is not safe for customer to do so.

"The breakfast here was excellent. Our shower was not pitched correctly and the water ran all over half of the bathroom floor, which was annoying. We ended up having to use extra towels to contain the water. The gift shop across the street said it was open until 5 PM, but we tried to walk in at 4:30 PM and they said they were closed. The room layout was a bit strange and the TV was in a very weird spot, where nobody could watch it as we tried to sleep. Overall, the hotel was very nice though. Just a couple of strange circumstances led to it getting a four out of five, rather than a five out of five."

"The view from our room was AMAZING! We stayed in the suite above the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Our room was welcoming and I loved the heated bathroom floor."

"Only stayed one night but one of the highlights of our holiday. The area around the hotel was beautiful, the room was clean and it was very quiet. Staff were friendly and the breakfast included for such a cheap rate was a great bonus!!! Really impressed with the value for money here"
