"Kelly’s motel was amazing with a beautiful view! The staff were so helpful and kind! The only reason I didn’t give a 5 is because my neighbour decided to knock on my door and wake me up at 2:30am asking me to turn my tv off. I had to have my tv on to fall asleep in the first place because of how loud she was walking around. So the walls are super thin, just make sure if you are a light sleeper to bring ear plugs, have your tv on lightly, or a sound machine because you can hear everything. I turned my tv down and could hear her husband snoring but was able to fall back asleep with it on at a level 4. I absolutely ADORED this motel though and would stay there again in a heartbeat 💕"

"The approach was nondescript and we wondered if we were in the right place or someone’s private home. But once inside, we were very pleased. The inn is clean, cozy, comfortable, and appealing. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Dinner (not included, but a lovely menu) was delicious, with a wine assortment from local vineyards. And breakfast (included) was also very good. We would definitely return."

"Great stay at this Motel. The manager/owner was super friendly and kind checking us in with a welcoming smile. The room was very comfortable and modern but shows some minor signs of aging but not a big deal. The beds were comfortable and we really appreciated an excellent breakfast which included eggs, sausages, hash browns, toast, cereal, yogurt and pancakes!!!. So great to be able to have this then get underway to continue our journey. It is only 10 mins from Baddeck where lots of activities were taking place. Be sure to take in the Baddeck Gathering Community Ceilidhs at the community hall at 6 Margaree road in town. They are so fun!!!"

"Great location, an easy walk to restaurants etc. Staff was very helpful and gave us a thorough orientation, including to the Cabot Trail, upon checkin. In-house restaurant looked lovely, but we ended up not going there because we got back too late (and it does look a bit pricey). The rooms were comfortable but we moved some small furniture items around so we had a place to set our bathroom things and had sufficient nightstand space."
