Day 6 - Joshimath to Haridwar
We get on our bus and take the same route as day 1, this time to be departed towards our respective destinations now that the journey was over.
The broken bridge you see here was damaged in the Uttarakhand floods in 2013 that destroyed thousands of villages. The important thing is they made a new one.

I was at Valley of flowers, Uttarakhand in the last week of July, a 6 day trip - my first after leaving the cubicle, also my first without anyone I knew.
