"This is a nice place and location is good. But the venue being sprawled in 2 locations on opposite sides of the block was awkward. After arriving exhausted from traveling, we checked in at the front desk- then had to drag our luggage around the block and down several steps throughout the neighborhood. Odd and cumbersome. No cart. No elevator. No help. We are in decent shape but this was just not a great “service” vibe. Bizarre. Room was clean but smallish. "

"Truly a dream stay at The First Roma Dolce. Joseph and the team had shown genuine hospitality and were very helpful. Even took care of our travel plans and transport arrangement! The room is luxurious, modern, and high-tech. The hotel is located right at the heart of the commercial area of Spanish Steps. Very convenient for shopping. Tourist spots like the Pantheon, Colosseo, and Trevi Fountain are within 30-min walking distance. "

"Staff were nice. Hotel is old and you have to take a very old elevator to the third floor for the hotel or take the stairs. Room had a weird smell and we had to buy a candle to make the room smell better. Rooms are not what I would call suites, even by Italy standards. We stayed several other places in several other cities, including in Rome and all were nicer than this hotel. It was made worth while by the friendliness of staff"

"This was hands down the best accommodations we had on our tour to Italy. Our 1st stop was Rome. The room was clean and quiet. Service staff such as Enricha at the front to assist with our check in was welcoming and kind. The gentleman who served our breakfast meals was very attentive and provided exceptional service. Food was made fresh daily and delicious! Location was perfect for all our tours. Great walking distance to all the great sights. We actually clocked in 38,000 steps our 1st day and 25,000 steps the following 3. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a welcoming and very comfortable stay. Thank you. "
