"We were a family of 3 plus a cockapoo staying in The Tweed. The room was perfect for us. Loved the decor and attention to detail. It was nice to sit in the sun in the morning in the little garden with a coffee and listen to the birds. We had dinner and breakfast in the pub. The food was ok but the service could have been better. We booked in advance and were seated straight away but we found nobody came over to ask if we wanted drinks and we ended up having to stand in the queue at the bar....

"Room smelt of dogs, upon enquiring i was informed previous occupant had dog. External of property very run down and in need of refurbishment ie windows rotten, walls cracked, gutters blocked, in need of repaint etc. Internal was not maintained windows of course as external (rotten) several would not open others would not close, imitation roof beams in breakfast room where just pine screwed to ceiling obviously because the screw holes hadnt been filled also gap between ceiling and beams, what a...
