Lovely hotel and in a very calm and quiet spot. Rooms were modern and clean and really helpful reception staff. Good breakfast selection and great coffee. We would certainly be happy to stay here again. Train station just a few minutes walk away too and just €7.50 to the airport✈️ 👍

Tolles Hotel für einen kurzen Entspannungsurlaub, sehr nettes Personal und angenehme Atmosphäre.
Einzig störend war, dass es keine Treppen gab und man immer auf den Aufzug angewiesen war.
Im April leider auch nicht allzu viele kulinarische Optionen in der Umgebung, aber das Hotel bot ausreichend Abwechslung für unseren Kurztrip.
Alles in Allem eine Empfehlung wert.

A family stay as we were headed to Tropical Islands and wanted to stay close by. Tropical Islands and Hotel zum Golden Stern were so enjoyable that we came back again a few days later. Both stays the booking was at the last minute but we did not have a problem. Check in desk had someone until 10pm. Service was friendly. Children enjoyed it. There is free parking in front and in back. At breakfast, the woman who was setting up saw that I had a thermos bottle and happily approached me to fill it...

A truly unique stay! Individually decorated rooms, each with a different theme chosen by a different local artist in the old train station building. Free entry to the Spreewelten swimming pool complex with an outdoor pool where you can swim alongside penguins(?!) and a free boat trip.if.ypu.stay 2+ nights. Delicious breakfast included (with mandatory gherkins) in an old town restaurant a 10 minute walk away. Not to everyone's tastes but absolutely worth staying for in our opinion!

Sehr schön hergerichtete Räumlichkeiten. Der Service und die Leute immer freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Die im Spätsommer wichtige Abschirmung gegen die Mücken des Spreewaldgebietes war überall gegeben. Für uns war es ein perfekter Aufenthalt.
Unbedingt das Restaurant besuchen und eines der Menue's probieren. Einfach exzellent!!!

Arrived very late but they had a clever system set up for us to still be able to get our room key. Breakfast was nice, the standard continental buffet. We'd left an item behind in our room but called a day or so later and they had kept hold of it for us to pick up. Very friendly service.
