"This is a really well located hotel housed in a former monastery, right by the gates of dawn at the entrance to the old town. It’s ideal if you’re after somewhere conveniently located but still quiet (I’m a light sleeper and could still sleep with the window open). It’s also very quaint and old school, for example not having key cards, preferring door keys with big wooden fobs, and featuring TVs that were probably made before the millennium. This may not be for everyone, but it’s a refreshing change from identikit modern hotels. The staff were all really helpful and friendly, even when my flight was delayed and I didn’t arrive until late on a Sunday night. One word of warning, the museli at the breakfast buffet seemed to be salty!"
