"Achtung, wir konnten unser Elektroauto laden, allerdings wurden uns am Ende 0,75£ / kw/h verrechnet! Das ist natürlich viel zu viel für eine Wallbox. Zugegebenermaßen haben wir im Vorfeld nicht nach dem Preis gefragt, wir haben mit so einem Wucher aber auch einfach nicht gerechnet. Daher ein Stern Abzug. Ansonsten eine gemütliche, saubere Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war ruhig in Richtung Garten. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Stadtzentrum ist sehr gut fußläufig erreichbar."

"Beautifully spacious and clean, air conditioned room. Excellent outside/garden space with lovely atmosphere, where you can sit into the night thanks to the plentiful heaters. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room were brilliant 'extras' and we even took the chance for a treatment with Catalina. Would highly recommend and we will return."

"Amazing location - almost anywhere you would like to go is less than 15 minutes on foot! The snacks and fruits in the room were more than any other hotel we have seen. Having parking in the hotel itself was extremely convenient. And the staff were all wonderful. For people with limited mobility, it may be a problem as there are lots of steps and no elevators. Other than that, everything is great!"

"A lovely quirky & very old hotel. We had a great stay & will come back again. Not really any negatives above what you would expect from an old historic building. Attention to detail could be improved in a few area's, but these are minor, picky things. Positives far outweigh the negatives. Great building,l & great location to town. "Such a lovely location, hotel & grounds are beautiful. We stayed 2 nights, had incredible spa treatments, chilled by the pool & enjoyed dinner both evenings in Stuart restaurant. All staff were welcoming & friendly Breakfast is self service & has all the usual on offer. Quite reasonable at £16 each. Our room only rate of £200 per night was good value but be aware our final bill was over £1000. We did enjoy the cocktails & wine list though 😀"

"Great location in a beautiful little village. Very quiet and unique. 15 min drive from Moreton. We are really enjoyed staying there. Stuff is very helpful. Village has a beautiful coffee shop and grocery store that has all essentials. Definitely recommend is you are in need of quality time, but still need to reach London in 1,5 hours."

"Hotel and staff were really good as normal but I was in a second floor room that was very warm and the addition of 2 fans to bedroom did not help cool it and in fact made it difficult to sleep. Still like the hotel, just not that room!"

"Great hotel great location everything in walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful couldn't fault them at all! Biggest disappointment was there was no lift, I had a a 16month old and had to carry buggy up stairs to second floor. When I booked I wasn't made aware there was no lift. I managed, many of the staff offered many times to help carry buggy upstairs for us. I recommend this hotel."

"Convenient location but felt fully immersed in the countryside. A beautifully maintained country house hotel with a warm welcome from an attentive team. "Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door.
