"Such a lovely traditional guesthouse. Ann was a really friendly, helpful host, the room was super clean, spacious and pretty and the breakfast cooked by her husband Paul was fantastic. Beautiful location - Penrith is a hidden gem. 10/10 thoroughly recommend. "

"We had an amazing time tucked away next to the Lake. The room was spacious with a great view and bathroom. Ample parking and a helpful host. 10/10"

"Gorgeous Hotel centrally located in the village of Hawkshead, room had all the facilities, key pad entry so no keys to carry Bottles of water by the bedside and even my favourite Costa Coffee pods for the coffee maker Beautiful restaurant/cafe downstairs. Breakfast was included in my stay and was one of the best I’ve had Staff were very helpful and very nice Really can’t fault it and would definitely stay again "

"Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help."
