"From the very beginning, before we even arrived at the hotel, it was clear the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and grounds are immaculate and the countryside setting is stunning. The walks around the grounds are so peaceful. We had breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks while staying there and couldn't find fault with anything. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, we even got to have a look around 10 bedroom Balyna House which can be rented out with its own bar and butler and a cool looking Cellar bar too.It is beautiful, and looks like the perfect setting for a wedding. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and really appreciated the extra touches of chocolates in our room and a dessert sent down to us after lunch. The water station in the hallway not far from our bedroom was so handy to refill our bottle with fresh, cold water whenever we needed. We definitely plan to stay there again."

"Extremely helpful customer service. Excellent check-in time. The only issue we had was a cooling system in our room which took a long time (several hours) to resolve. Otherwise, we had a very enjoyable stay. We have to leave early from the hotel and the hotel made sure they had a take away breakfast ready for us."

"Great place to stay with large, clean rooms and good restaurant. Plenty of parking and a peaceful park adjacent to the property for a quiet stroll. Plenty of shops within a short walk. All of the staff members have been great, but we have to give a special shout out to Clancy who is always professional, courteous and extremely helpful."

"Outside the room window was an air conditioning unit, or something similar, that made a 24/7 noise that would remind you of a tumble dryer constantly running. When reported to staff, they looked amazed that someone would have the audacity to complain about their hotel and nothing was done. First night , the lift broke down, breakfast...NO brown sauce available. Might seem trivial re. sauce, however, small things add up. Still awaiting a reply from hotel, as I recieved an email from them to review my stay."

"have stayed before, and will no doubt be back again. The famously slow lift (!) wasn't available when we left, but a staff member helpfully guided round the convoluted route to the stairs (lucky we didn't need to find it alone and in a hurry). The food in the restaurant was good, although we didn't try the breakfast. Overall a nice hotel with helpful staff"
