"All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was great and included in the stay. Evening meals were some of the best I have had lovely. Absolutely excellent value. Not a modern soulless hotel but an older place with a friendly atmosphere."

"TV not in great position. We both banged our heads , Room 3. Otherwise excellent Breakfast- more fruit options would be better, but it was good overall. I'd move it to the larger room dinner was provided. It felt a bit closed in with only about 6-7 tables. Staff always attentive and helpful."

"Hotel charges £10 extra to park which wasn’t evident in any communications prior to arrival. On arrival reception insisted we only had the family room booked for 2 people. After insisting I had booked it for 4 people they discovered that it was an error on their systems. Room decor was very dated ..."
