"Didn't really know what to expect when booking a "cabin" in Amsterdam. As it turned out it was a great choice. The cabin is effectively a large capsule. Just enough room for a double bed coat hooks and a shelf. There's a small safe as well. The shared toilets and showers (2 of each between 6 cabins) were clean and tidy. The cabin itself was pleasant in a sort of premium IKEA way. It depends on the occupants of the other 5 cabins I guess but I found my 2 nights very quiet and comfortable. The...

"We had a 2 night stay in early June 2023 and it was really lovely. Comfy bed, big windows let in lots of light, spacious bath, and thoughtful storage. The front desk helped us with bike rentals (on site) which was super convenient. The hotel is just a bit outside of the central area, but that was a plus, I think, as it was quiet at night. There were paths to run and bike along and it is walking distance to several great restaurants."

"The Arena Hotel was a gem! Originally, the building was an orphanage, but it had been very skillfully and artfully refurbished. The modernizations were interwoven with elements of the original building. Each room was different. Our little suite had a circular bedroom with an impossibly high ceiling. There was a very extensive public park right in front of the hotel, with a large pond. It was a wonderful place for a stroll. We loved our stay."

"The staff were lovely comfortable beds and good size rooms great location but a very dated old hotel and. Not bar is big downside if you want to have a drink or two but you can bring your own! General decor needs updating bathrooms very small"
