"For what I needed, a quick stopover, it did the job but there were a few things that could have been done to improve the stay! The room (# 400) had an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke when I entered and not being a smoker it was very off putting. I opened both the bedroom and bathroom windows, put the fan on and went out for an hour. When I came back the smell wasn't quite as bad but as a non-smoker, it was still a strong smell. The room itself was a little tired with broken cupboard draws. It obviously hadn't been thoroughly checked over from the previous tenants because there were 2 beers in one of the draws leftover from a strip of 4 but hay-ho, bonus for me! A hairdryer and electric sockets near the bed would have been nice but that's just me being picky The location was good with the beach and shops only a short walk away. Parking was on the street outside the hotel and it was first come first served although it was free between 8pm and 9am. Look, when all said and done, I stayed here for a quick stopover and it did the job. If thats all your looking for then yes, go for it, it's a cheap stay and does the job but for any longer, I probably wouldn't stay here. "
"No early check in or late check out. When checking in early, they said “your room is guaranteed at 3pm”. At 3pm they said your room is not ready and so we upgraded you to a sea view room. Got to the room, it’s a wall view room with one less bed.. we booked a room with two king size beds and got 1 bed and 1 sofa bed. When called multiple times, nobody picked up the phone. When requesting late check out they said “we have given away too many late check outs already “, are you kidding me?? Staff were rude and non cooperative. There are water jars at 35C which is very thoughtful but only if they have water in them. Extremely disappointed with what we got for what we paid for. Do better!"
"Good, clean well-furnished room with aircon and great shower.
Disappointed to find use of spa pool was not included in the room rate (as this was not clear on the Expedia site) and required booking.
Otherwise a lovely stay."
"An excellent dog friendly hotel in Worthing.
Friendly staff and a good welcome on check-in.
Big, comfortable and clean room.
Huge bar and dining area with great choice of food and drinks - breakfast was very tasty.
Right by Worthing station but no noise from trains.
Good central location, 5-10 minutes from a park to walk the dogs, and 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach. Pay and display car park 100 yds from the hotel.
Highly recommended."
"We had Premium room, unfortunately no aircon;( heat in the room was unbearable in this weather-my kiddo got heat rashes .
Sofa bed was also very uncomfortable to sleep. Pros: brilliant location, great breakfast, clean room and toilet, iron, kettle and mini fridge in room just a bonus. I wouldn’t recommend for family with kids as very hot in the room."
