"No one at front desk—a man arrived but did not speak English; we thought he was a guest but he called someone on his cell phone and handed it to me—a woman spoke with me briefly and then the man showed us to our room. Old refrigerator; door did not close, freezer was full of frost. Very few patrons; good because cheap hollow core doors shut very loudly and marble floors very noisy. "Wonderful family, Oskar and his wife and their three sons. Hardworking, caring, and honest. The food was very tasty. Lovely loft room - clean and well equipped. Maria kept it neat and tidy and well presented every day - thank you. We have loved our time in Kefalonia. Would recommend hiring a car to visit places such as Assos, Fiskardo and Sami plus the beautiful beaches along the way. Try and see the turtles too in Argostoli harbour near the fishing boats. "
