La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rancho Cordova Sacramento
8/10 Good
"Good full choice breakfast not a continental breakfast. My only concern is that the shower has a very slippery surface with no grips for prevention. All 3 of us slipped in there. The water control in the shower needs to be updated due to poor water control. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a good stay. Price for room was good."
"I have a sole complaint: the showers were not very hot. Other than that, I had a very nice room, the workout facilities were really nice, the pool and hot tub weren't used by me, but were clean and functional. I want to especially speak on a staff member. I'm embarrassed to say that I neglected to get his name, but who I believe was the manager there found out about my child being in a car wreck and he was exceptionally kind: I will remember that long after this trip has faded from my memory."
"The property is rundown, along the side of Highway 80 - so loud.
I was in the area for work, and liked the price, so I booked the hotel - the reviews seemed good.
Anyway, You get what you pay for, I ended up booking a different hotel because of my anxiety when I pulled into the parking lot.
I called and to try to cancel my reservation, the woman at the desk said I had to go through my booking agency,
I spoke with my booking agency through a chat bot, hotels.com and they said that it had to be approved through the property,
24 hours later they wouldn’t cancel the reservation, I understand for the first night because it was past the cancel date, but I think that a refund on the second night is totally reasonable. Anyway, again, you get what you pay for, there is a reason why the rooms are so affordable."
"We had trouble with the WiFi signal in the first room we were given but the hotel gave us another room were the WiFi was good. The hotel is great but is in an area with quite a few homeless people but I did not feel unsafe at any time. The pool is quite small. We would stay there again as although the review may seem negative, it's a nice hotel in convenient location. A tip... There is a barrier in the middle of the road, so you can't turn left, in or out of the property but if go in or out through McDonald's it can be done. I didn't take a photo but if you look on Google maps you'll get the idea!"
"We enjoyed the historical onvionce of the Delta King. They did an excellent job in the restoration, keeping the old parts and pieces. The bedroom and baths were small but adequate, adding to the charm. I would definitely recommend staying on the Delta King if you are into historical things."
