"Great for a stay before or after a flight. Nice gardens, good foot, calm environment, great staff. We have been there during the week when there was no wedding or function!"

"Shouldn't be termed luxury. It's like the Donald Trump of hotels, say it and it's so.
Air conditioning was not working. I don't term a queen bed as luxury, especially not one that moves everytime one of us moves.
The interleading door, while locked, is not soundproofed and that ensured hearing cackling from the neighbours after their night out until 4am.
Only one towel hook in the bathroom. NO euro plugs in the room, just one in the kitchen. The Netflix that they keep ok touting is just the app, you still need to sign in with your own account just like dstv streaming that is specified. Also, luxury in my mind means you at least get a bath sheet, but no, standard towels that could be fluffier.
Worst was the fact that the bathroom, or at least toilet, did not have a door. It is in full view of the bed and balcony, so be sure you travel with someone you are VERY intimate with. While I just got married a few months ago, we have not reached that level of comfortability with one another and I hope we never do.
It was clean though, definitely self catering with crockery and cutlery sufficient for your stay. Proximity to shops and Sunbet Arena can hardly be beaten. "
"We arrived and our room had a plumbing problem but they offered us 2 rooms. With young daughters i dis not love being seperated from them but my girls loved the space for the night and it felt save. Safety being my main concern as a foreign traveller. The rooms were a little older and the air conditioning did not work in one room. Breakfast was lovely and so was the owner and staff. Wifi was solid which is not always the case in SA so we appreciated that. A really good choice for a night or 2"
"I really wanted to love this property because it was close to a wedding we were attending, and the room itself was spacious and had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.
When we arrived, we were told that somehow the booking had been made through Expedia, but they didn’t know how it was allowed, and we were made to feel like our reservation was extremely inconvenient. We were told they “had to upgrade” us, but the “upgraded” room was the exact room in the photos booked on Expedia.
We were asked to pay extra for breakfast for one person, which we did. Only to find there was no breakfast choice — only one set option, and we were expected to eat the same thing every day for four days. They charged us R100 for the breakfast but on the menu it was R69. When asked if we wanted coffee or tea, I asked for juice for my children, and we were told juice wasn’t included. They had to ask for an “exception” just to provide juice for the children, which felt uncomfortable.
There were also a few basic issues in the room that shouldn’t happen: there was visible blood on one of the pillows (it looked washed but hadn’t come out).
There was no information provided about the property - did not even know it had a pool. On top of that, the key code was changed during the day without telling us, and we were unable to get back into the property for a while until someone eventually came to let us in.
Overall, a very mediocre stay."
"
Generally, my family and I had a good stay. We however felt rushed to leave the room to allow for cleaning, with knocks and telephone calls to ask when we would vacate. Sometimes we were woken up by loud vacuum cleaning. It would be good to invest in training of the staff even if they are temporary. One was obviously unwell with a flu as she served breakfast. Another at the reception told us that '"I am only a student" when we pointed out a serious safety hazard and potential risk to injury: the reception desk sits on top of a raised area around which there are no barriers/rails. If a guest were distracted and moved backwards without looking, they could fall and get seriously injured. This needs urgent attention.
Nevertheless, we would stay at the hotel again."
