Nothing wrong with Milano Tourist Rest

A small hotel with enough needs to stay the night while visiting. The room was a very good size - a little outdated and reminded me of something from the 1970s, but it was nice and everyone was very helpful. Nothing wrong with Milano Tourist Rest - but don't expect a 5 star hotel! It does have a character of its own from glorious days of the past. Just use a little imagination.

Vraiment bof!

Excellent acceuil, restaurant correct, petit déjeuner continental. Quant au reste...hôtel a besoin d'une réelle rénovation. Décrépit. Personnel attentionné et serviable. Petite chambre, draps de lits trop petits et tachés de sang, longs cheveux sur entourage du lit.Salle de douche, cabine accessible que pour des petits gabarits. Ménage à revoir partout!!

Net hotel met grote kamer aan de rand van de stad. Om in het centrum of bij de historische plekken te komen wel een tuktuk nodig. Kunnen ze voor je regelen.

In a lovely quiet location. My room was a bit dark, but did open onto a lovely outdoor courtyard which was perfect for yoga.

The hotel is not too far from the downtown or touristy areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is limited but good. The room was large and clean.

It was ok for one night.

It's an ok hotel. For the price you pay it's what you can expect. Fairly clean. We didn't have breakfast there so can't comment on that. Shower could be better as it wasn't warm enough and didn't have the full force. No shampoo or shower gel provided so make sure you have your own. It's fine for one night.

Good but not central

Our room had a comfortable bed, a/c and a fan, good wifi, and was clean. We didn't use the restaurant as it was pricey for us (R600 for breakfast). We rented bicycles from the hotel, which made all the difference , as the hotel is not close to the ancient area, nor restaurants, nor shops. The one exception is a cheap and good Sri Lankan restaurant at the end of the street. Furniture a bit dated. Neighbourhood is green/lush and quiet.

OK if you gave a car!

A typical SL budget hotel; older but with efforts to update. Like many, has lot's of steps. I found nothing to complain about for the price. It might be hard to find if you're just using using taxis.

Sauberes und empfehlenswertes Hotel

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse , ist sauber und sympathisch. Das Essen ist auf Vorbestellung ausgezeichnet und günstig. Man kann am Vorabend auch ein srilankisches Frühstück bestellen. Die breiten Betten waren super.

Большой номер на 1 этаже: утром начинают работать на кухне и приходит конец сну. Есть вода горячая и холодная, только в разных кранах. Цены в ресторане цены слишком завышены а других альтернатив поесть нет, т.к.рядом приличного заведения не найдешь.

Ein ausgezeichnetes Hotel für Individualreisende

An diesem Hotel gibt es eigentlich nichts auszusetzen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist ganz einfach ausgezeichnet. Der Empfang an der Reception war superfreundlich. Mein Zimmer im ersten Stock des Haupthauses war gross, gut und praktisch eingerichtet mit vielen Ablageflächen. Das Bett ist tadellos bequem. Es gibt Klimaanlage und Ventilator, Kühlschrank und genügend Steckdosen. Im Bad funktionierte alles wie es soll. Das Milano hat auf der gegenüberliegenden Strassenseite ein weiteres Haus, wo die Zimmer gemäss Aussage anderer Gäste ebenfalls tiptop sind. Im Haupthaus gibt es ein gutes Restaurant mit nettem Garten zum draussen sitzen. Moskitos können jedoch eine Plage sein. Das gesamte Personal des Hotels war einfach immer ausgesprochen nett. Man kann im Hotel Fahrräder mieten um damit die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besuchen. Was mir auch noch gefallen hat: es waren viele Individualreisende da und keine TourGruppen.

上品な民宿

部屋は広くて清潔で明るく気持ちよく滞在できた。部屋でWIFIが使えるのも有りがたい。周りは緑いっぱいで、住宅街で静か。しかしこのホテルでの食事は高い。少し歩いた所に食堂やお店が有るので、食事には困らない。チェックアウトの際、アンケートを書かされるが、オーナーを目の前にして、本当の事書けないと思うのだが、 スリランカはこのケースが多かった。
