"This is a Pension, not a hotel… off the beaten track but nice staff and nice food. I believe it is underpriced at this price and if people went there they would be able to finish the renovations. If you want a nice German week end this is the place. "

"I really liked this hotel, quite ununlike most other hotels; seems more like a private retreat, and it conveys a sense of peace and calm. Not exactly in a mainstream location but if you need accomodation in this area, I highly reccomend this place."

"Great hotel - excellent value. We stayed one night on our way down to Southern Germany but would stay longer again. Fantastic breakfast and great evening meal. Decor is a bit dated but very clean. Excellent value for the price. "

When I arrived, I was made to wait for twenty minutes outside the building, communicating with someone at another location through the intercome. When they finally let me in, my room wasn't ready, although it was more than three hours after the check-in time advertised on the website.
