5/5 - Excellent
A quiet town out of the way but a hidden gem, well worth a visit for a couple of nights.

Seafood restaurants, shopping and historical sites are some highlights of Historic Downtown Apalachicola. Make a stop by John Gorrie State Museum or Apalachicola Chocalate Company while you're exploring.

The hotel is Old Florida from the wraparound front porch to the warm Southern welcome. We loved our stay. The bar which is off the lobby is our favorite bar. Great happy hour prices! The hot tub was a bonus. Our room was awesome with marble floors and shower. Walkable to the neat small town shops ...

Clean rooms, nice employees, just seconds to the beach from room! Great local restaurants! Perfect room for the 2 dogs who got to play in the ocean for the first time ever!

Advertised with “white sand beach” and property is not on beach. Paid extra for ocean view, which ended up being able to see water over roofs of buildings between building and ocean. Room has poor paint job and shower had mold and mildew in it.

Beautifully decorated with everything you might need. Clean and fresh with exceptional communication. Perfect location with the general store nearby, restaurant next door and beach access in walking distance.

Small but interesting shops in the centre. Tasty, very large ice creams...yummy!
Known as the forgotten coast whole town has an early 20th century feel with lovely clapboard buildings with picket fences and a lot ot buildings from early 18 00s in federal style.great place to walk around and soak up the atmosphere.
