"Beautiful former tobacco barn and textile plant turned into a hotel. Comfy beds. Cozy rooms. Perfect double-headed shower. A "pay by the ounce" self service beer & wine wall. Absolutely will stay here for thr next Autumn Leaves Festival"

"Had just left the previous night one of the worste experiences one can have with a motel in Salem, Va. Upon seeing the location, kind of was worried seeing it was directly beside intersate 77 Well how much i was mistaken. the young man working at the desk was super nice and helpful. Assured us that if there was any noise it may come from the interstate. There was very little and was grateful fr that. The room was super clean, spacious and bed was so comfortale. Bathroom was so clean and shower was what the doctor ordereed. Look forward to staying there again. Thank you Red Roof Inn."

"I gave five stars in every category because this property and stay truly exceeded my expectations for a Super8 which I hadn’t stayed in for many years. I have intentionally overlooked Super8 for years for a reason but this property was in the right location for my drive and at an incredible price point, so I thought I’d give it a try. It’s is very convenient to the highway, plenty of amenities close by without being busy and noisy. The property, while dated, was in good order and you can see that they are working to further improve it. It actually smelled clean, which is something I didn’t expect based on my previous Super8 experiences. The bed was comfortable, good sheets and pillows. The tv was easier to navigate than most of the higher end hotels I stay at! Bathroom was clean with good water pressure and hot water. It was quiet and the staff were great! I’ll stay here again if it’s on my route. Highly recommend."
