"I upgraded to a triple room. Picture showed a sitting area and loft with extra bed. What I received was a small side room with bunk beds. No couch or extra space to hang out. Definitely felt like a bait & switch. It was just me and my adult daughter. There was no bar for a drink and we had planned to use our room for gathering. "

"Very impressed with the size, quality and the cleanliness. A few teething issues, but they were resolved immediately and without question. The only this is that the matress was way too thick and I don’t believe the bed sheets were changed during our stay - I wouldn’t mark them down on these as I didn’t ask for thinner sheets and I couldn’t say for sure about bed shert changing, although they did feel quite greasy after 3-4 days. Overall I would recommend and would stay there again"

"Room was ok, only 2 very small pillows on the bed making for an uncomfortable sleep. Halls are quite dirty and have a bit of a smell. The place needs a bit of an update."

"Only stayed for one night after late flight into Nice. Was very convenient- 10 mins walk from terminal. Had dinner in hotel which was very good although we were the only ones eating as late. Reception and restaurant staff very helpful. Left in the morning for Antibes by train again only 5 mins walk. Highly recommend "

"This place really needs to be updated. The hotel is very old and weathered. For the price, I feel like it would benefit by being updated. We left really early in the morning fore check out and we couldn't figure out how to get out of the hotel. We were looking around and the front staff was sleeping in another part of the lobby in the dark room so we didn't see him. Then he said, well you should have called out for me. But we were talking at normal volume and he was not too far but didn't hear us. So he blamed him sleeping on us not looking harder for him or yelling out to him. That was not a good experience. Overall, would not stay again."

"This hotel was wonderful! The first thing I want to address is how friendly and accommodating the staff was. Including the bar staff! The location was perfect, very central to everything. My downside to this hotel was the noise- it was very loud til about 1am every night but I guess that is the price you pay for having a central location. The rooms were not that clean, for example, the crumbs on the carpet stayed for days til we said something about it, and there was some sort of chocolate stains on the walls that were not taken care of upon checking into the room and the extension of our entire stay. The rooms on the left side (level 3) where we stayed were not updated. No USB plug ins and no smart tv so come prepared with wall chargers. I checked into a different room (level 5) where I was told the rooms were newly renovated and I had better soaps, a USB plug in next to the bed and a smart tv with English channels. Overall I had a wonderful time and would recommend this hotel to anyone and would absolutely come back. Would love to see my bartender friends Mohammed and Diana again! "

"Had a room on the 1st floor. Housekeeping was not up to standard. The headstand of the bed was covered in 4mm of dust. Probably hadn’t been cleaned in weeks."
