We travelled from Ullapool through a snow storm in the dark for to photograph sunrise at Ardvreck Castle. The castle is situated on the banks Loch Assynt and it was only a short walk from the car park to get this shot which was actually after the sun as rise but I just love the way the cloud is just at the top of the castle in this picture. A truly magical place well worth a visit. #Instone #castle #ruin #snow #scotland
