"This hotel is in a perfect location directly on the sea shore. That is only good thing I can say. We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour.

"Location was excellent, place was lovely, breakfast was wonderful. Proprietors did not speak any English but we communicated pretty well despite the barrier. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed to be required to pay in cash upon checkout. There was even a sign that said they accepted credit cards but she was insistent on cash. Wiped out my cash supply and due to transaction fees and exchange rates cash is much more expensive for travel. Found this to be typical in Greece, however,...

"Very quiet area, yet also very close to the heart of the old city (just down the steps). Not fancy, but very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and chatty. Although my room with a balcony was said on the website listing to have "no view" it did in fact have a view of the sea, and a breeze every evening helped to cool things down and dry my laundry.
