"We called less than 24 hours before our stay to specifically ask about the pool and hot tub and when we got there, they were closed for repairs. The room was outdated and run down - for almost $200/night I expected a much nicer place. Walls crumbling, threadbare carpet, sliding door didn’t close properly, no plug for bathtub and it only could be filled by running the shower, very strong room air freshener, and onsite restaurant had poor service and mediocre food."

"This property is a disgrace for Australian tourism. International visitors having to overnight at the airport will get such a wrong impression.
The hotel changed name and is falsely advertising itself as luxury. The management could care less about hospitality. They just care about squeezing every $ out of customers. Lots of management staff walking around in elegant suits yet the facility is mismanaged. They don't even answer the phone.
The mattresses and bed frames are old. I stayed for 2...

"Close to airport and retail park. Shuttle transfer from and to airport was smooth. Reception and restaurant staff well trained, helpful and professional. Room had all modern amenities and was clean and comfortable. There was a pool if you wanted a dip. Highly recommend."

"Room was great, check-in staff were average at best would advise they found a new career , lots of promotions and direction from staff to enjoy the happy hour at bar but bar was understaffed and barman had very little training was definitely out of his depth and no happy hour prices or free nibbles as advertised had a couple drinks and as soon as other bar next door opened 90% of customers jumped ship - handy it’s close to airport though "

"Great location for events that we were attending at MCG & Marvel Stadium, good selection of food available at breakfast, friendly & helpful staff, good atmosphere in bar area with selection of beverages available. Room was clean and tidy; lifts worked well and didn't have to wait for them like you do in some other hotels, overall, very enjoyable stay, would definitely stay there again.
***Just to note that if you require wheelchair access or have difficulty with stairs it would pay to check...

"I was only at this property for about 12 hours as I was travelling It was so convenient to walk to station to get sky bus to airport.
The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable and plenty of room and a great price for what I wanted.I would certainly go back and stay !!"
