Post-Plaza Guesthouse

"Overall, the Post Plaza was a pleasant place to stay for the night. What I liked: - Easy self check-in with code - Large room - Upgraded bathroom - Kitchen facilities What I disliked - No TV in the room - Only 2 pillows and they were too soft - No closet in the room although there was space for one - Kitchen facilities were shared"

"This place was amazing! The staff were available and helpful. The facility was darling and very clean. It is an old house so that comes with some creaks, but it was very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again! Parking there was ample free parking available. And they provide free cocoa, and tea and even fruit in the morning."

"The apartment was very easy to access on the first floor and check in was quick and simple! There was tons of space inside and it was super comfortable. The self service laundry was the highlight of our stay for the middle of our trip! Super close to downtown & host had many local recommendations which were greatly appreciated. We would recommend this stay & hope to be back one day!"

"Amazing spot near Husavik! The cottages are tucked into the woods for maximum privacy and are very cozy. You can get to town in less than 5 minutes and to the Myvatn area in less than an hour. Highly recommended"

"We travelled in mid-September. After viewing the photos when booking, I mistakenly thought the guesthouse was in close proximity to the falls. It is actually 25 minutes from Dettifoss. It is north of the falls so it is positioned well for Asbyrgi Canyon. Don’t judge the accommodations from your initial take of the outside. The amenities are great - kitchen is well stocked, great eating area and the bathrooms are newly remodeled. We would definitely go back again."

"The guesthouse was exactly as described in Expedia. The kitchen, common room and bathrooms were all very clean. The owner responded to questions quickly and also was a very interesting man to talk to about the area. The common area has an amazing collection of cd's and records! We felt at home staying here!"

"Loved staying here! Just 8 min drive into Husavik, clean and comfy rooms, great breakfast, lovely staff. It's also a place you can do horseback riding tours. We didn't have time, but if I find myself there again I will book one!"
