"The room was great in all respects. Breakfast was good with a friendly chef, who cooked us lovely scrambled eggs. Unfortunately other guests when we arrived in the evening were rowdy and continually swearing and made our experience quite daunting. It would have been helpful if we had been warned about the £10 parking charge."

"To be honest, I wasn't expecting a huge amount as I know this is usually a student hall of residence. It was perfect for what we were looking for to be honest as we were there for our daughter's graduation. I think my biggest disappointment was that the communal areas seemed to be air conditioned (or at least were very cool) yet entering the room was like entering an oven.. so we had to leave the window open overnight which unfortunately meant we were woken really early by the building works happening next to us. Other than that, the room was fine, bed comfortable enough. I really liked the breakfast and, as I said, the location was perfect for our daughters graduation, although I think it is a bit out of town for the rest of Exeter."

"The staff were very welcoming and great and serving people even when they were fully packed due to the football being on. The local Beer and food was very tasty. Why I don’t give 5/5 is because the room was super hot as it faced the sun all day and the fan they gave was very weak even at full power. This isn’t the staff or hotels fault as the summer we are having is extreme compared to normal. Would I stay again? 100% but maybe not in the summer or not in a room facing the front "
