"I had a wonderful time at the Grove Park Inn. I had a mountain view room and it was nice. The hotel is beautiful and huge. They have a lovely fireplace in the lobby where you can relax and listen to the piano. The spa is amazing but the spots usually fill up quickly and require a 3 month in advance booking. "Such a cool place to stay. 15 minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway with beautiful Mountain views from the front porch of my cabin. Each cabin has two rooms but if you’re just renting one, they won’t put strangers next door...so you have the place to yourself. Staff was so nice. I didn’t eat meals there but found it very charming that they serve family style and even ring a bell when it’s time to eat. The whole stay was like taking a step back in time in the best way. I’ll definitely be back."
