"I travel to Colorado Springs every year. this is my 3rd year staying at the Academy hotel. It is conveniently located, friendly staff, nice pool, great breakfast and comfortable rooms. Lots of restaurant options close by. Only issue was over the course of a week I killed 3 bugs in my room."

"The ONLY thing I do not like about this property is that the parking spaces are too narrow. It was difficult to get into and out of our car, and my husband and I are not fat. I worry about our car getting dented or scratched by a person exiting or entering the car beside us."

"There is a Walmart (open 6am-11pm) that is an 8 minute walk. I'm disabled and had no issues with my walker. Maria the GM was fantastic. Rama has outstanding customer service skills, she is always polite. Overall a very nice property. Housekeeping was very available it seemed daily. The rooms with kitchenette was nice, large sink, microwave and full size fridge. My stay was two weeks, waiting for my condo to be ready. "

"Very nice space for the price. The walls are quite thing though and you can hear everything going on in the hallway. Other than that thought it was great for the price, staff was kind, room was clean and set up was lovely. WiFi didn’t work very well though that may have just been my devices though. "

"My room was clean. The lady who checked me in after my flight was delayed several hours was very nice and professional. The property was quiet at night. I did not see any of the problems mentioned in other reviews. The property is basic with no frills and inexpensive. "
