"Lovely staff,didn't see Mary queen of Scots ghost as it said it was haunted. Close to Buxton opera house and pavilion gardens, gorgeous scenery. Breakfast standard and in the price,pasties were gorgeous then the hot food,don't think they had vegetarian option. Bar prices reasonable and unfortunately sold out of a lot of draft cider etc.room was massive, beds comfortably ."
"Hotel lovely rooms spacious, staff very friendly. Bar area right at side of Victoria quays. Parking was a struggle on arrival as a funtion taking place in hotel, but eventually got parked."
