"Perfect stay"

"Excellent staff and a lovely building, well located for York train station and only a short walk into the old town. Why a 3 star the ? Tiny, really tiny, room and a breakfast that was universally overcooked took away from what might have been a great stay."

"There were some comments about rooms needing an upgrade so I was a bit worried. However, I got a very spacious room with a large comfy bed, the bathroom had a bathtub and a lot of space for my cosmetics, room was also very well equipped. One downside was lack of AC but at least the window opened. The hotel reception, lounge, bar and restaurant are much updated and really nice and comfortable. Lots of room to spread out and space is nicely designed. Breakfast was also very good, all menues...

"Property was clean enough. No room cleaning at all the 3 nights we stayed not even towel change. The rooms could do with a bit of dressing up with paint and filler but apart from that it was good location and really quiet which is always good after a loud day in town. Parking is good and cheap for York especially Ev charging. Overall good and quite"
