"They have a unique business model with no management on the property. they were available by phone and text, but not immediately. This left several of us left out in the rain trying to get in our rooms. The communal kitchen was not really somewhere you could cook. There was a microwave and toaster oven, but no dishes. The rooms were small, but modern and efficient. Weirdly there were only a few guests although when I tried to book it showed it almost booked up. The location is great right near...

"We loved our stay at Bowline. We parked the car and didn't have to use it the entire trip because we could walk to everything we wanted to see. We loved seeing the trolley and the sea lions on a daily basis. The saunas on the river are wonderful. The bed was so comfortable. The staff was so friendly. Getting a nightcap with that view at the beautiful bar was perfect. We loved everything!"

"Do not recommend! Stayed for 5 days in room 206. Dirty room with furniture not dusted and mold in the shower. There are smashed bugs on the ceiling above the shower and what looks like blood stains on the front door that could be easily wiped off. Very dirty hotel. Housekeepers did not come by to make our room or replenish toiletries or towels our whole stay. The only time they came by was to ensure we were checking out on time on our last day - and they did that twice. Worst of all, our toilet...

"Construction was extremely loud and unpleasant. Starting at 8am each morning, my view was blocked by workers on the roof and I could overhear everything from loads of heavy materials being dropped on the roof to someone’s speaker phone calls. The location is nice but do not book until their million dollar “upgrades” are finished."

"Everything with the property was good and it was on the beach side. The check in process is not good at all. We arrived at the hotel and there is no one working there. No office. So we were looking back at our booking notes and there was no mention of how to get into your room. We walked around a bit and there was a note hanging by the stairs that instructs guest to go to another location a couple miles away to pick up the room key. There is no message during the booking process to tell you this...

"Staff was super friendly, quick to check in and it is in such a easy place to park, and walk to food, gyn, and other things. Clean and large rooms and love the outdoors aspect of the place. Breakfast was great, in a big room and lots of options from Waffles, to cereal, eggs, potatoes, Biscuit and gravy, Hard Boiled eggs, coffee, juice.. your normal full breakfast options. Internet is fast for work access. Great place, will stay again when I am in the area!"
