It was a pleasure to stay in a Daiwa Roynet again - a "normal" room size (for a Westerner who feels cramped in the very small rooms typical of mid-range Japanese business hotels) and a window with a view made all the difference. I have stayed in a couple of Daiwa Roynet hotels now & found them to be of good quality & very comfortable. The Hamamatsu Daiwa Roynet is centrally positioned, very quiet, & the staff were very helpful.

This was our 1st experience of a Richmond hotel and we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is situated close to the city centre and is an easy walk from the main JR railway station and shopping and dining streets. The reception staff were not experts in the English language but they were friendly and keen to please. We had no problem with check in and booking a taxi for our early next day departure.
