"The double room was fine for what we paid for the night. We needed a bed(s) for the night and this Inn fit the bill. If you wanted to be wined and dined, go to another facility.
The Inn was dated to the 70's but we were not there for the fancy rooms.
Room was nice and warm. Air conditioning was available but not required.
Standard fridge and micro wave for a motel.
Only had tea available in the room and coffee available in the office.
Breakfast available only a short distance away ( about 5 minutes ).
Small TV with limited channels on cable.
Inn was quiet with a few other guests.
No bathroom fan available in this particular unit. ( NOT broken, None Installed )
Located in a small university town with the usual eateries close to the Inn.
I would stay here again mainly because of the very reasonable price charged for the night.
Beds were comfortable.
Only staff that I dealt with was the check in/out manager. Available by phone after hours and probably in person to deal with any problems.
Parking available immediately in front of the unit.
Inn was easy to fine near the main highway but we did not detect any traffic noise."
"From the moment we entered the Inn, the owner was kind and directed us to our beautiful nautical themed room. The room was very clean, with extremely comfortable beds. Then in the morning we woke up to a gourmet breakfast, that was prepared fresh. That was a really nice surprise! We enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of the owners, we'd definitely stay there again."
"Delightful old historic inn filled with antiques & dolls. Dinner in the dining room was delicious, homemade & large portions. Very reasonable prices."
"What a delightful place to stay! We had no idea when we booked on Expedia that it is the #5 ranked place to stay in Canada. And well deserved!
My son and I stayed in the "Cliffs of Fundy" tower suite. The description on Expedia did not prepare us for how impressive this suite is! It is the entire top floor and comes with two separate 3 piece bathrooms and two separate bedrooms, a king, two twin beds. I had thought it was twin bunk beds from the description but it's not.
The staff is very friendly and it runs like across between a bed and breakfast and a hotel. It was very comfortable being in the home because the owners have their own separate part of the building.
Paul (the owner) was our chef and came out to the dining room to greet us. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious breakfast. Our 1st course was cranberry orange scones with coffee. The 2nd course was fruit (apple, pineapple, grapes, blueberries and strawberry) w yogurt and granola. The main course was maple leaf shaped, orange scented waffles, topped with bananas, strawberries, and blueberries and accompanied by a locally made Maple blueberry sausage.
Divine!
We walked to the Harbourview Restaurant for dinner. The a 2.1 km walk was lovely. Be sure to stop and use the selfie camera station. The tide turned while we had dinner and we were shocked how quickly it moved in each direction."
"The host is incredible friendly and kind. Really enjoys getting to meet the people staying there. Would it be nice to have my own bathroom and kitchen, rather than a shared one, yes it would. However, for the price, this place is a very good and sharing a bathroom and kitchen is definitely manageable.
Overall, I left feeling like I was staying at a relatives who I haven't seen in a while."
